JIZZLE JAMES IS A POINT GUARD PLAYING FOR THE CINCINNATI BEARCATS.

A four-star high school talent, Jizzle James makes his debut for the Bearcats this season after a stellar high school career at Orlando’s Olympia High School. The son of former NFL running back Edgerrin James, Jizzle was the #9 ranked point guard in the Class of 2024, leading the Titans to an appearance in the FHSAA (Florida) state championship game and choosing the Bearcats over Florida and Georgia. He emerged onto the national scene during the Nike EYBL’s final circuit play of the season in Kansas City, averaging 20 points per game, 56% shooting, 3.7 assists, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game.

As a freshman, CBS Sports analysis Jon Rothstein projects Jizzle to be a regular member of the Bearcats’ starting five.

“He's a throwback Bearcat point guard. He plays with edge on defense. He makes plays on offense. He can make his teammates better.”

-Wes Miller
Head Coach, Cincinnati Men’s Basketball

What people are saying

“I call him a Swiss Army knife because he does some of everything. He can penetrate. He can shoot. He's really improved his jumper this season, his 3-point shot. He has a nice physical physique so he's very strong and can bully opponents and he's a dog on defense.“

— Antonio Owens, Coach, Florida Rebels AAU and Assistant Coach, Olympia High School (FL)

“On3's Jame Shaw rattled through his most impactful Big 12 freshmen this week and Cincinnati point guard Jizzle James landed among the group at No. 7.“

— Russ Heltman, Sports Illustrated Fan Nation

“James plays much bigger than his size with his ability to dish the ball to an open teammate or take contact from bigger players. “

— Charles Post, Cincy on the Prowl, Fansided
